Every team. Every stage. Every student.
We are parents, grads and neighbors who raise money for Riverside High athletics, band, theater and clubs. Uniforms, buses, instruments and scholarships: if a student needs it to compete or perform, we help pay for it.

Questions about receipts and taxes
Plain answers to what parents and donors ask us most. Still stuck? Send us a note.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Riverside Community Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your gift is tax-deductible as allowed by law. If you received something in return, like gala dinner tickets or a sponsor sign, only the part of your payment above the fair market value of what you got counts. Your receipt shows both numbers so you do not have to work it out.
When do I get a receipt?
Right away. Online gifts get an email receipt within a few minutes. Checks get one the day we deposit them. Keep it for your tax records.
I lost my receipt. Can I get another one?
Yes. Open the donor portal, enter your email, and we will send you a sign-in link. Every receipt you have ever received is there to download.
Do you send a year-end summary?
Yes. Each January we email a statement listing every gift you made the year before, with the deductible amount for each one.
What about donated items?
We send a receipt that describes what you gave. The IRS does not let us put a dollar value on donated items, so you decide what they were worth. For items worth more than $500 you may need IRS Form 8283.
Can I give without my name on the donor wall?
Of course. The form lets you choose to appear by name or stay anonymous. We never show your email or address.
